PDO Thread Lift

Precision Placement of PDO Threads - During the procedure, ultra-fine, dissolvable PDO threads (like MINT™ PDO) are carefully inserted beneath the skin using thin needles or cannulas. These threads can be smooth, twisted, or barbed depending on the desired effect. Barbed or cog threads physically anchor into underlying tissue to lift sagging areas immediately—such as the cheeks, jawline, brows, or neck—by providing mechanical support and repositioning soft tissue.

Immediate Lifting Effect - As soon as the threads are in place, an instant lift is visible. This is the mechanical component of the PDO lift, gently repositioning sagging facial skin in key areas toward a more youthful contour.

Stimulating Collagen & Healing Response - Over the next several months, the inserted threads—made from polydioxanone—stimulate your skin’s fibroblasts to produce collagen, elastin, and new blood vessels. This process, known as neocollagenesis, strengthens and restores the skin from within, improving firmness, elasticity, and texture—even after the threads have fully dissolved in about 6–8 months.
